“Think Like A Man” Knocks “Hunger Games” From Top Spot at Box Office
“The Hunger Games” reign at the box office came to an end after four weeks on top. The film dropped to third place after a dominant run that has re-energized the American box office. “Think Like a Man” took the top spot this week with $33 million. The studio had only anticipated an opening around $17 million. The movie was made on a $13 million budget, which it almost made back on its opening night.
“The Lucky One” starring Zac Efron took home the number two spot in its opening weekend. The movie is based on a Nicolas Sparks novel. Like “Think Like a Man” it too came in above the studios predictions.
