Teen Dies After Fall From Balcony At Gulf Shores

Posted by David Merrell On July - 20 - 2013

An 18 year old vacationer is dead after an accident at a Gulf Shores condo. Challenge Talbot from Louisiana was found floating in Turquoise Place Condominium’s swimming pool. Investigators believe he fell 16 stories into the pool, killed by blunt force trauma. At this point, they do not believe Talbot’s death was a homicide.

Talbot’s body was discovered around 3:45 AM on Friday morning. A local couple staying at the condo found him and called 911. Efforts were made to revive Talbot, but they ultimately failed. No one witnessed the accident, so cause is unknown at this time. Experts are awaiting the results of a toxicology report to see if drugs or alcohol played a role.
