Thirty-three year old Shawn Jolivette escaped from a jail road crew work detail around 10:00 AM on Tuesday in Louisiana. He was captured around 11:00 PM Tuesday night in the parking lot of Casino Beach.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies and FDLE agents assisted the Marshals in capturing the fugitive. A stolen car from Lafayette, Louisiana was also recovered. There was a loaded 9mm handgun under the front seat of the car.
