Posted by David Merrell On October - 19 - 2012

Saraland Police have arrested two men on charges of electronic solicitation of a child, and attempting to possess child pornography. The bust is the latest helped by Internet Crimes against Children (I.C.A.C.). The two men involved were 20 year old Wesley Elvin Lartigue, and 19 year old Johnny Gray Craig Jr, both from Mobile. Both individuals are being held in Metro jail.

In June of this past summer, Saraland made several arrests with the help of I.C.A.C. The group was formed in 1998 to help combat sexual predators from using the internet to prey on children. The I.C.A.C. has helped arrest over 16,000 child predators since it was founded. The group has also helped train officers and prosecutors in the methods needed to catch child predators on the internet. With the groups help, the internet will be a much safer place for the child of the area.
