Saraland Man Convicted of Enticement of a Minor

Posted by David Merrell On May - 4 - 2011

Kristian Dillon Holzaepfel of Saraland was convicted of attempted enticement and possession of child pornography. Holzaepfel attempted to meet a 14 year old (who was actually an undercover officer) in a Wendy’s parking lot. After he was arrested child pornography was found on his computer. Holzaepfel claims he was simply role playing on the computer and had no intention of meeting a minor. The jury was not buying his excuse. Holzaepfel faces 10 years to life in prison. Sentencing is set for August 5.
