Resident Evil Tops Box Office
The latest Resident Evil film “Retribution” topped the box office this week, beating out a 3D release of the 2003 animated hit “Finding Nemo”. The film brought in $21 million domestically, and an impressive $50 million overseas. Resident Evil stars Milla Jovovich as Alice, the main character of the five film series. “Finding Nemo” brought in $17.5 million. Last week’s number one film, “The Possession”, fell to third place with $5.8 million. In three weeks, the movie has brought in $41.2 million.
