Michael Clarke Duncan Dead At 54

Posted by David Merrell On September - 3 - 2012

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan has passed away at the age of 54. Duncan starred in many popular movies, and even received an Oscar nomination for his performance in “The Green Mile”. He suffered a heart attack back on July 13. Duncan never recovered from the episode, and died this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Duncan was well known for his extraordinary size, and deep voice. His tremendous physique landed him roles in superhero flicks like Daredevil, and other comic book adaptations like Sin City. His voice lent itself well to animated features, and his voice acting credits include “Kung Fu Panda” and “Brother Bear”. Duncan could work comedy as well, as his spot in “Talledega Nights” proved.
