First Person Cured of AIDS

Timothy Brown of San Francisco has become the first person to be cured of AIDS. Brown was cured of HIV infection when he received a bone marrow transplant from a donor who was immune to the virus. He was being treated for Leukemia which he has also been cured of. Doctors aren’t sure how exactly the whole process cured Brown, but they are running experiments to determine if the process can work on others.
