Election Day In Satsuma

Posted by David Merrell On October - 9 - 2012

Voters in Satsuma are heading to the polls once again today to pick the final two city council spots. Runoffs are being held for Place 1 and Place 3. In Place 1, the choice is down to Emily Keeney and William Hamblin. In Place 3, incumbent Pratt Monk is facing a challenge from Matt Dial. The polls opened at 7:00 AM and will be open until 7:00 PM. Two-thirds of the city council will be chosen today, so it is a very important election and all Satsuma citizens of voting age should participate. We will have results later this evening as they come in.
